How to add kits to Football Manager

To enhance your Football Manager experience with real club kits, follow these steps:

  1. Download a Kit Pack:
    • Visit reputable sources like SortItOutSI or FM Scout to find kit packs.
    • Choose a kit pack that suits your preferences and download it to your computer.
  2. Extract the Kit Pack:
    • Ensure you have a file extraction tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip installed.
    • Right-click the downloaded kit pack file and select “Extract Here” or choose a specific destination.
  3. Locate or Create the Graphics Folder:
    • Navigate to your Football Manager directory, typically found at:
      • Windows: Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager [Year]
      • Mac: Library > Application Support > Sports Interactive > Football Manager [Year]
    • If a ‘Graphics’ folder doesn’t exist within this directory, create one.
  4. Add the Kits to the Graphics Folder:
    • Within the ‘Graphics’ folder, create a subfolder named ‘Kits’.
    • Place the extracted kit files into the ‘Kits’ folder.
  5. Configure In-Game Settings:
    • Launch Football Manager.
    • Navigate to ‘Preferences’ from the main menu.
    • Click on ‘Advanced’ and then select ‘Interface’.
    • Ensure the following settings are adjusted:
      • Uncheck “Use caching to decrease page loading times”.
      • Check “Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences”.
    • Click ‘Confirm’ to apply the changes.
  6. Reload the Game Skin:
    • After confirming the settings, the game will reload its skin, integrating the new kits.

By following these steps Football Manager 2024 should now display the real club kits.
